We Educate With Love and Affection
Inspired by St. John Bosco, the Salesians of Don Bosco Anglophone West Africa Province are dedicated to the holistic development of youth. We believe that educating one person can wait for changes — we educate with love and affection, helping young people grow into responsible, self-empowered citizens.
Youth Ministry
We accompany young people on their journey of faith and personal growth, creating spaces where they can discover their talents and develop them to full maturity.
Children at Risk
We protect and support vulnerable children, offering shelter, guidance, and pathways to a brighter future through dedicated child protection programs.
Education & Vocational Training
From solar technology training to classroom construction — like the 6-unit block commissioned for Nankando Primary School in Ghana — we deliver inclusive, equitable quality education.
Health & Social Support
We promote wellbeing through health services and social initiatives, including job service office life-skills training that equips young people for dignified livelihoods.
"Educate one, wait for the changes. We educate with love and affection."

Donate NowAcross the Anglophone West Africa Province, Salesian missions reach into communities where young people face limited access to education and social support. Inspired by the preventive system of St. John Bosco, these centers combine classroom learning with technical training, oratory activities, and pastoral accompaniment. The aim is not merely to teach skills but to form character, building a foundation of dignity and hope. Young people discover their talents in carpentry, information technology, agriculture, and other trades, while also growing in faith and self-confidence. Each mission site becomes a place where youth are welcomed, listened to, and encouraged to become agents of positive change in their own families and neighborhoods.
Youth ministry lies at the heart of every Salesian mission, creating safe spaces where young people can encounter God and one another. Through retreats, youth groups, music, sports, and volunteer service, participants develop a sense of belonging and purpose. The province also extends its reach to the most vulnerable, including street children and those affected by poverty or displacement. Accompaniment by trained youth ministers and Salesian volunteers ensures that each young person receives patient, personal guidance. This holistic approach nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, forming resilient individuals ready to contribute meaningfully to society and to live out the Gospel values of joy, service, and solidarity.
