(AFW – Nigeria)- Opening of Salesian House and Chapel in Ijebu-Ode.

(Ijebu-Ode- Nigeria)-  Rev. Fr Karikunnel in his way back after Ordination of 5 Salesian priests in Abuja,  visited on Tuesday, 16th of July 2019 the Salesian Community of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State,  Nigeria.
The purpose of the visit was the opening and blessings of the new Salesian house.
The Salesians since their arrival in 2014 lived in a rented house and gradually built up a permanent residence for their future apostolate.
Architect Christian Zigato and Rev.Bro. Killian Kpogoh were the main proproganists of the project,  sponsored by the Congregation through different benefactors. It gradually came out a solid, beautiful and appropriate residence for the Bld Micheal Rua Community.
Before the Provincial blessed a Chapel of Adoration attached to the Church Building to keep permanently Jesus present in the Blessed Sacrament among his people.
The occasion had Rev. Fr. Italo Spagnolo, Rev. Bro. Kpogoh Killian, Rev. Fr. Bankole John, parishioners, Salesians from other communities, Salesian Cooperators, workers and well wishers attending.
