(AFW Ghana)-Kickoff for 2019 Local Economic Empowerment For Women, Youth and Vulnerable Groups

Sunyani, 6th to 8th May 2019- The Salesians of Don Bosco Anglophone West Africa Province in partnership with Volontariato Internazionale Per lo Sviluppo, Berekum East Municipal Assembly, Nkoranza North Assembly, the Dormaa East Assembly, VIS and European Union in our quest to empower young people and women with skills that will curb irregular migration.

The event held at the Bishop James Kwadwo Owusu Jubilee Hall brought together most of the thought leaders in Berekum, Nkoranza, Dormaa and Civil Society Organisations to see how we can stop this menace called irregular migration.

The need for skills is being supplied for the women, youth and vulnerable groups to get a source of livelihood which will prevent them from migrating in search of greener pastures.

We hope to bring you more news on the activities and training for these groups.
