Sierra Leone -“A survivors triumphant story from powerless to power” Madam Naasu Fofanah

6th April, 2019 was an inspiring moment as Madam Naasu Fofanah visited us at Don Bosco Fambul to share her story of how breaking the silence of her childhood sexual abuse led to her overcoming her trauma.

165 beneficiaries of Don Bosco Fambul’s child project were present.
Don Bosco Fambul an NGO  in Sierra Leone under Salesians Anglophone West Africa Province is partnering with Madam Fofanah a former Unitied Nations staff to host 50th Speaker series.

Madam Naasu Fofanah is a gender rights activists and former adviser to the President of Sierra Leone Dr Ernest Bai Koroma.

This is the 10th talk in the series where Madam shares her story seeks to inspire young girls in 50 schools in Sierra Leone to break the silence on sexual abuse and seek help.
