5th April was the commissioning of a workshop by the staff of Don Bosco Anglophone West Africa Province, Don Bosco Youth Network (DBYN) and St. John’s Integrated Secondary School, Tono – Navrongo.
In our quest to empower more physically challenge youth in the Northern region through the Inclusive Vocational Training for Physically Challenged and Socially Disadvantaged Young People in Northern Ghana (IVTNG) project a workshop was built for St John’s Integrated Secondary School.
Prior to the building of the workshop, training of stakeholders was conducted for teachers and those actively involved in the education sector to see why the physically challenged should be given facilities to make their training effective.
In St. Johns Integrated Secondary School we saw the need of a skill training workshop which could benefit the physically challenged so Don Bosco Anglophone in partnership with German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development, Africa Action Deutschland (aaD) built one for them.
Thank you to all our benefactors.
God bless you for supporting our work with young people in Africa.
