On 5th April, Don Bosco Technical Institute had a graduation ceremony for 110 students who graduated in 2018 from the school.
The event held at the School Campus was of the Theme “Re-Alignment OF Technical and Vocational Education and Training, the right step towards the achievement of Ghana Beyond Aid.”
Many dignitaries including Hon. Gifty Twum – Ampofo. (Dept. Min. of Education TVET/Basic & Secondary), Mrs. Christiana Kankam (Dist. Dir. of Education), Catholic Bishop of Sunyani diocese, M. R. Matthew Kwesi Gyamfi,, Member of Parliament Hon. Ignatius Baffoe Awuah, District Chief Executive Sunyani West, Hon. Martin Obeng, Representatives from Awuah Dumase and Odumase N• 1 Trad. Council honoured the event with their presence.
The programs the 110 graduated from were Creative arts, Building Technology, Secretarial studies, Computer Technology, Agricultural Mechanization, Welding and Fabrication, Electrical Instsallation Technology, Wood Technology, Wood Technology and Catering Hospitality Management.
Most of those are employed in ventures that are advancing the development of Ghana.
